This old "Weinhauer" (Wachau term for winegrower) saying, which emphasizes the self reliance of wine processing, determines our understanding of wine. What is really necessary? What is unnecessary? For us as winegrowers, pure passion and pure handcraft are the only means to bring out the pure beauty of Wachau wines in the best possible way. The natural beauty is all we want to keep. Florian Ruhdorfer and Peter Mandl have been working on unique wines in vineyards between Wösendorf and Weißenkirchen since 2016 in order to praise this magnificent landscape. No effort is too small for us. The vines are cultivated according to organic principles to take into account our conviction of quality winegrowing. We are convinced that vital vines can help the minerality of the Wachau primary rock soils to develop their full taste. The intensive work in the vineyards allows us to harvest beautiful and flavorful grapes.

We process our grapes from Grüner Veltliner and Riesling in an old vaulted cellar in Wösendorf, which is already a few centuries old. A natural climate in our cellar promotes the maturation of our wines as well as the wooden barrels in which they are maturing. For us, this is the most natural thing in the world. Pure and beautiful.
