As a family business, we have been practicing natural and sustainable viticulture in the Wachau World Heritage region for generations. Our main farm is the over 1,000 year old former Salzburg district court in Oberloiben. A strong awareness of our history, great respect for nature, striving for the highest quality in our actions and welcoming hospitality have guided us for generations. The natural, hand-crafted cultivation of our vineyards creates vibrant wines that truly represent the uniqueness of their vintage and origin. Our vineyards are located, for example, in the Dürnsteiner Kellerberg, Loibner Loibenberg, Dürnsteiner Hollerin or Weißenkirchner Steinriegel vineyards. The spectrum of varieties includes Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Gelber Muskateller and, with particular passion, Pinot Blanc, which is very rare in the Wachau. Supported by the appreciation for the resources made available to us, by nature and by our previous generations, guided by the passion for our goals of being able to experience wonderful wines and happy guests, and strengthened by the confidence that life and business are in harmony makes a difference with nature, we strive every day to leave a positive impact on the larger things in small ways.
