Visitors to the Wachauer Wine spring 2026 who will not be participating in tastings (e.g., companions, drivers, children, and teenagers) do not need to purchase the €40 tasting wristband.

As an alternative, the Wachau Day Ticket is available.
It costs €12 for adults and €6 for children and teenagers up to 15 years old and is valid for one calendar day. The day ticket allows travel on the regional bus lines 715, 717, 718, 719, 720, and 721, all seven Krems City Bus lines, as well as the Danube ferries in Dürnstein, Weißenkirchen, and Spitz.

Alternatively, single tickets for public transport can also be purchased.
