Description

Süssenberg is the second section of the Loibenberg vineyard (beside the Rothenberg); the name is used as a designation of origin, which can be traced back to the year 1515. This is also a south-facing slope, adjoining the Rothenberg to the east. The grapes from this parcel reach a particularly high degree of ripeness. This designation of origin must not be confused with Süssenberg in Mauternbach.
